Hydrographic transfer printing is also known by several other names to include water transfer printing, 3D printing, and cubic printing. The simplest explanation is a specially designed ink film is suspended on a bed of water, and then is coated with a reactive agent which then allows the pattern to become wet and tacky. When an item is then immersed into the water thru the pattern, the water forces the pattern against the object being immersed and allowing it to conform to irregular shapes.
